Basketball Recap: Horton Takes a Loss

Horton played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Perry-Lecompton Kaws, falling 69-34.

Horton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Perry-Lecompton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Horton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hiawatha at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry-Lecompton, they will challenge Oskaloosa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
