The Southwest Wildcats lost against the Norborne Pirates last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Southwest took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norborne. Southwest has not had much luck with Norborne recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Southwest's loss came despite strong showings from Regan Donoho and Emalee Granville. Donoho scored eight points along with seven steals, while Granville scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Norborne, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-10.
Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Norborne is on the road again on Monday and plays Higbee on February 5th. One thing working in Higbee's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests.
