Harrisburg Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Veritas Academy with a sharp 70-47 win. The win was some much needed relief for Harrisburg Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harrisburg Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eli Stargel, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Kleinschmidt, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Harrisburg Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Veritas Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Harrisburg Christian will face off against Newport at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Newport is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Veritas Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lancaster County Christian at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Lancaster County Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Saturday.
