The Hilton Head Island Seahawks had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 40-33 win over Colleton County. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hilton Head Island also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Leah Jackson had an outrageously good game as she almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. Lawton Crose was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Hilton Head Island pushed their record up to 10-15 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Colleton County, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
Hilton Head Island didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-33 defeat vs. James Island on the 9th. Colleton County has also already played their next contest, a 67-27 defeat against Lucy Beckham on the 9th.
