The Cordova Blue Devils were the 53-44 winner over the Dora Bulldogs when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Cordova fell 46-34 to Dora on Friday.
Collin Abrom was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 14 points along with 3 steals. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Maddix Harrison, who scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds.
Cordova now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Dora, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordova will take on Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dora, they will play host again and welcome Fultondale, where tip off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Fultondale is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
