On Wednesday, Collegiate beat Harker 56-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Collegiate.
Harker's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kevin Zhang, who scored 12 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Zhang grabbed two or more steals. Rohit Yalla was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Harker struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Harker, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Collegiate will head out on the road to face off against Menlo School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harker, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Westmont at 5:30 p.m.
