There's no place like home for Madison County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Franklin County Lions by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Madison County never let Franklin County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Franklin County still got an impressive performance from Avery Burton, who had four aces.

Madison County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Franklin County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Madison County and Franklin County will both be playing Newton the next time they take the court. The Red Raiders will host the Rams at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
