Central Plains can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Reno County HomeSchool 102-56 at home. Yes, you read that score correctly, and yes, they were playing football.
Meanwhile, Thunder Ridge fell victim to Wallace County's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Wildcats, falling 50-0. Having soared to a lofty 66 points in the game before, Thunder Ridge couldn't push the score so high this time.
Central Plains' victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-2. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Reno County HomeSchool, Bucklin, and Otis-Bison. As for Thunder Ridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.
