Roosevelt has gone 8-1 against Severance recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Roosevelt got the win against Greeley Central by a conclusive 3-0. The Roughriders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Roosevelt not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Greeley Central between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

Roosevelt can attribute much of their success to Izzy Biggs, who had eight digs and two aces, and Madi Kage, who had seven digs. That's the most digs Biggs has posted over her last seven matchups.
They weren't the only good servers: Roosevelt was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greeley Central only served seven.
Meanwhile, Severance had just enough and edged out Greeley Central 3-2 on Tuesday.
Severance had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 19-25, 25-22, 25-15, 15-7.
Roosevelt better focus on containing Dalaynie Loftin and Presley Korte as the pair were huge in Severance's win. Loftin had 11 aces and six digs, while Korte had 12 digs and four aces. Korte has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.
The win got Severance back to even at 6-6. As for Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
Roosevelt was able to grind out a solid win over Severance in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Roughriders repeat their success, or do the Silver Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
