The Norfolk Christian Ambassadors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 75-5 blowout they got at home against Arcadia. The result was nothing new for Norfolk Christian, who have now won five matches by 26 points or more so far this season.
Norfolk Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justice Brown-Jones led the charge by scoring 20 points along with four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Brown-Jones has scored at least 25% of Norfolk Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christal Harris, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and six assists.
Norfolk Christian pushed their record up to 7-5 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.25 points. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Norfolk Christian will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Summit Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. Arcadia is on the road again on Monday and play against Bruton at 5:30 p.m. on January 8th.
