Roseland University Prep had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-54 W against the Victory Christian Academy Eagles. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 55-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rudy Garduno went supernova, putting up 30 points.

The victory got Roseland University Prep back to even at 6-6. As for Victory Christian Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Roseland University Prep will take on Elsie Allen in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights are facing the Lobos at the right time seeing as the Lobos are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Victory Christian Academy and Trinity Prep will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
