Chatham Central is a perfect 5-0 against Seaforth since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will welcome the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Chatham Central's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Seaforth's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Chatham Central's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Uwharrie Charter Academy hitters got past them. The Bears lost 15-7 to the Eagles on Thursday. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Seaforth, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in March. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Bartlett Yancey a 17-0 shutout two weeks ago. Considering the Hawks have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Emma Grace Hill made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Blair Hill was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cami Brinkley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Seaforth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .765. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Seaforth now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Chatham Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Everything went Chatham Central's way against Seaforth in their previous matchup back in March, as Chatham Central made off with a 19-1 win. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
