Lebanon is a perfect 9-0 against Centerville since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will square off against the Elks at 2:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lebanon 3, Centerville 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Lebanon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Springboro a 3-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not much got past Sophia Sheidler, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Springboro off the board. Sheidler has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lebanon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Georgia Underwood, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Underwood has posted since back in April.
Lebanon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Springboro struck out 11 times.
Meanwhile, Centerville won against Walnut Hills on Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Elks were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over Lakota West. The Elks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Caitlyn Belcher made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Belcher was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Natalie Carr and Kenley Bakan did most of the damage at the plate: Carr went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Bakan went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Riley Bakan, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Centerville, their win bumped their record up to 22-7.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lebanon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .371. However, it's not like Centerville struggles in that department as they've averaged .400. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Lebanon's way against Centerville in their previous matchup back in April, as Lebanon made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Elks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
