Baseball Recap: Cisco's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Cisco blew Lipan out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Lipan got their revenge. The Cisco Loboes fell just short of the Lipan Indians by a score of 5-3. The Loboes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Cisco saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Williams, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Hudson Hernandez also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Cisco moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Lipan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cisco will venture away from home to challenge De Leon at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Lipan, they will head out on the road to square off against Perrin-Whitt at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
