After flying high against Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday, Community came back down to earth. The Vikings/Viqueens took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moore County Raiders on Friday. Several Vikings/Viqueens players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Savannah Pearson, who went 6-for-11 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa White, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.
The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Moore County, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
