Christ Presbyterian Academy waltzed into their match on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs with a sharp 7-1 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

Christ Presbyterian Academy pushed their record up to 33-4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Lipscomb Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 26-7-1.

Christ Presbyterian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
