Jesuit faced McMinnville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Crusaders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grizzlies, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jesuit's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for McMinnville, they moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jesuit will head out to challenge Oregon City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for McMinnville, they will square off against Lake Oswego at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lakers have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
