The Palmer Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Harvard 44-39. The matchup was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Palmer was outscored by Harvard in the second.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harvard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Santiago Gabriel, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Fishler, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals.
Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Harvard, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmer will take on St. Edward at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (St. Edward is ranked 79th, while Palmer is ranked 92nd). Harvard's road trip will continue as they head out to face Axtell at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th.
