Westmoreland extended the longest winning streak in AA District 9 this week by beating Sycamore, 39-6. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Eagles.
Westmoreland took down the War Eagles 39-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Goodpasture Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Carson Gregg has thrown for 32 yards this season, while Tate Gregory has one catches for 14 yards. Carter Wiseman leads the league in rushing with 106 yards.
Steve Harris's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,587 from 4,814. The advance stemmed from a 39-6 victory over Sycamore last week.
