Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern Lebanon County). They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Annville-Cleona Dutchmen on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Gavin Bicher was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Another player making a difference was Braden Gettle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Eastern Lebanon County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Eastern Lebanon County back to even at 3-3. As for Annville-Cleona, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Lebanon County will face off against Northern Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Northern Lebanon's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Eastern Lebanon County's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Annville-Cleona, they will take on Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lebanon has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.2 runs per game on average), something Annville-Cleona will no doubt try to take advantage of.
