Littlestown came tearing into  Wednesday's  matchup with seven straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by  a  14-3 margin over the Biglerville Canners. This was a revenge game for the Thunderbolts: when they faced off against the Canners  back in March, they had to take a  7-6  defeat.

She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Adyson Popoff and  Sarah Loveless did most of the damage at the plate:  Popoff  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Loveless  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. That  triple marked the first that  Loveless  hit this season.  Ashlynn Gorsuch was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Littlestown  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Biglerville only managed six  hits.
Littlestown pushed their record up to 10-3 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Biglerville, their  loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.
 Looking ahead, Littlestown will challenge Susquehannock at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so the Thunderbolts' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Biglerville, they will take on New Oxford at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Canners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Colonials have averaged an impressive 7.9  runs per game this season.
