The Catoosa Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 17th straight defeat. They were outmatched by Fort Gibson on the road and fell 64-9. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Catoosa has scored all season.
Jacquelyn Cornwell was Catoosa's leading scorer, having posted nine points.
Hadley Mcgrew took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Catoosa's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Fort Gibson, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catoosa will take on the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Gibson, they will play host again and welcome the Mustangs, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oologah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Tigers are ranked 25th).
