The Centennial Titans''s five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They took down Liberty 30-13. The victory was just what Centennial needed coming off of a 42-0 loss in their prior contest.
Harry Stewart iii had a dynamite game for Centennial, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Patton, who threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Liberty, their loss was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Lebanon Trail the next time they take the field. Liberty will host Lebanon Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Centennial will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
