Ramona Convent are taking a road trip to  take on Westridge  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Ramona Convent is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6  runs per game  this season.
Ramona Convent will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two  runs  last Thursday, then bounced right back against Serra  on Tuesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by  a  26-3 margin over the Cavaliers.
 Madison Garcia was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   seven  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 4-for-4.

 In other batting news, Ramona Convent let  Delicia Murillo and  Rosie Rosales run wild. Murillo  got on base  in four of her six plate appearances with seven  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Rosales  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  stolen bases, four  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  Rosales a new career-high.  Abigail Vazquez was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Ramona Convent  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .708. They are  a perfect 10-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Westridge was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They lost  19-9 to Rio Hondo Prep.
  Marysa Ybarra made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Danika Vargas, who  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Ramona Convent has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Westridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1.
 Wednesday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Ramona Convent hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .457. However, it's not like Westridge struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .323. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
