With a playoff game on the line, the Boulder Creek Jaguars rose to the challenge on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wolverines 5-4. Boulder Creek wouldn't have won without Jackson Gaydon, who scored the game-winner.
Boulder Creek is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Tolleson, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8-1.
Boulder Creek will head out on the road to take on Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunnyside will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Boulder Creek surely won't give up without a fight. Tolleson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
