In what's become a running theme this season, the Harding Academy Lions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They really took it to St. George for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-32 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Harding Academy has posted since December 7, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harding Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Niya Evans, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Emory Miller was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Harding Academy pushed their record up to 10-7 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for St. George's, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding Academy will take on First Assembly Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (First Assembly Christian is ranked 210th, while Harding Academy is ranked 209th). As for St. George's, they will be playing at home against Lausanne Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
