The Tombstone Yellow Jackets are taking a road trip to square off against the Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Tombstone's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six matches.
Tombstone will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Bisbee, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Yellow Jackets put the hurt on the Pumas with a sharp 15-4 win on Friday. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kyla Gross made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Gross was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Tombstone pushed their record up to 13-12 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Cruz Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Tombstone has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .522.
