Brandon McGinley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season.
