Emmy Jansma and Olivia Daliege made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Jansma pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Daliege pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Jansma got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Daliege scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Lydia VanderWoude was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lauren Kreykes, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Boone Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Illiana Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
