AAA District 6 recap Oct. 23, 2012
Coffee County Central and Franklin County played the most hotly contested game in AAA District 6 this week, with Coffee County Central eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory.
Warren County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 29 points on Warren County.
Coffee County Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Peyton Meeker has thrown for 252 yards this season, while Logan Baumstein has three catches for 58 yards. Deangelo Rozier leads the league in rushing with 166 yards.
A big matchup in AAA District 6 this week will be when the Red Raiders take on Cookeville. Coffee County Central is currently in fourth, while the Cavaliers are in first.
