Baldwyn extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jourdan Crump. The Bearcats walked away with a 38-28 victory over the Hamilton Lions on Friday for which the team can thank Crump, who rushed for 207 yards and three scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.
Baldwyn's defense made their presence known, laying out Justin Verner nine times. The heavy lifting was done by Chanceton Price and Braxton Stewart, who racked up six sacks between them.
Despite the loss, Hamilton had strong showings from Verner, who threw for 365 yards and a pair of TDs, and Ian Nichols, who picked up 148 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
