The Carlmont Scots will be playing at home against the Sequoia Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sequoia took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Carlmont, who comes in off a win.
Even though Fremont scored an imposing 33 points on Friday, Carlmont still came out on top. Carlmont took their contest against Fremont 43-33. The victory was just what Carlmont needed coming off of a 48-28 loss in their prior game.
Braeden Kumer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 238 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Kumer is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian Booth, who rushed for 30 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Sequoia lost to San Mateo at home by a decisive 21-7 margin on Friday.
Sequoia's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Rowell, who picked up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Brody McKenna who threw for 138 yards and a touchdown.
Carlmont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Sequoia, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-6.
Carlmont came up short against Sequoia when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 28-23. Will Carlmont have more luck at home instead of on the road?
