After three games on the road, Osawatomie is heading back home. They will take on the Iola Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Osawatomie, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-54 loss to Santa Fe Trail. Osawatomie has struggled against Santa Fe Trail recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Iola beat Anderson County 49-41 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Iola.
Landon Weide was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mac Leonard, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Osawatomie's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Iola, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
