Avery Johnson and Jayden Johnson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Johnson scored ten points along with four steals, while Johnson scored ten points. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarcus Brown, who scored seven points.
Roanoke Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Jefferson Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roanoke Catholic will take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hargrave Military Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,220 points over their last 16 contests. As for Jefferson Forest, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
