The McDade Bulldogs suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 50-24 loss at the hands of North Zulch. McDade has not had much luck with North Zulch recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jessica Dube, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals. Dube hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Jacobs, who scored six points along with five steals.
McDade has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for North Zulch, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.
McDade will head out on the road to take on Dime Box at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dime Box is on a seven-game streak of home losses, McDade a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. North Zulch will take on Round Top-Carmine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Top-Carmine is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
