There's no place like home for Northwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Crete Cardinals with a sharp 10-0 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Evie Keller as she scored three goals for her team.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Crete, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northwest is set to challenge their familiar foe Schuyler at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crete will face off against rival South Sioux City on Friday.
