With a playoff game on the line, the Balboa Buccaneers rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 21-13. The win was nothing new for Balboa as they're now sitting on four straight.
Dontee Allen-Wilson had a dynamite game for Balboa, rushing for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Allen-Wilson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
Balboa pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points per game. As for Lowell, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Balboa will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Lincoln at 11:00 a.m. on November 23rd. One thing working in Lincoln's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
