The Victory Baptist Warrior's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They really took it to Grace Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-27 victory on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Victory Baptist considering their 19-point performance the match before.
Grace Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brandon Fitch, who scored nine points, and Noah Farnsworth who scored nine points.
Victory Baptist's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Grace Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Victory Baptist will be playing at home against Peachtree Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Peachtree Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Tuesday. As for Grace Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Byne Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Byne Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.
