Colson Nelsen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wayne, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 4 assists. The contest was Nelsen's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Caiden Backer was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Wisner-Pilger has fallen quite a ways from their 19-7 record last season and are now at 0-5. As for Wayne, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
