It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Providence had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Crawford County Wolfpack with a sharp  9-3 victory. The result was nothing new for Providence, who have now won seven matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Presley Hegedus made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Hegedus was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Grace Denis was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Livy Theobald, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 The  win (which was Providence's third in a row) raised their record to 9-10. As for Crawford County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
 As of now, neither Providence nor Crawford County have any future games scheduled.
