Oak Ridge came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Kelsey Frank paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up 14 kills. Frank got some help from Ella Hieb and her 26 assists. Madelyn Snyder controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Oak Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Oak Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Spanish Springs on the 30th. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hilmar on the 30th.
