The Burlington Christian Academy Royals typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday The Burlington School Spartans proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Royals by a score of 50-40. Given The Burlington School's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Burlington Christian Academy is ranked 110th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Zion Walker, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Devin Sims, who scored six points.
The victory made it two in a row for The Burlington School and bumps their season record up to 22-12. As for Burlington Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.
