Nasir Collins Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Mount Union's Nasir Collins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Collins made six total tackles, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Mount Union, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. They and Meyersdale are set to duel on Friday.

Juniata Valley found a leader in Vincent Hoover as the team took down Southern Huntingdon County on Friday. Hoover was unstoppable, rushing for 165 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making six total tackles (3.0 for loss).
For the year, Hoover has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 75.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging six rushing yards per game.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Landon Buck stepped things up a notch to give Moshannon Valley the 'W'. Buck was dynamite, rushing for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.
On the season, Buck has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 82.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.33 rushing yards per game.

Rocco Reifer Makes It Two for Moshannon Valley
Another Moshannon Valley player making an appearance on this list is Rocco Reifer. He rushed for 143 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 143 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Reifer must have West Branch's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Reifer saw the Warriors), he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Ryan Came Up Big in Mount Union's 21-13 Win
The second Mount Union player making an appearance here is Josh Ryan, and for good reason. He rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Claysburg-Kimmel's probably not too fond of Ryan given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Ryan saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown.
