The Towson Generals pushed their score all the way to 67 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Parkville 71-67. Towson has not had much luck with Parkville recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Towson had strong showings from Quint Fryer, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds, and Braden Renner, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Renner has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Korey Collins, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Towson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Parkville, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3.
Towson will take on Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkville, they will head out on the road to take on Randallstown at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
