The Choudrant Aggies waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They really took it to Downsville for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-18 victory at home. With Choudrant ahead 38-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Choudrant has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season. As for Downsville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-24.
Choudrant will head out on the road to face off against Claiborne Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Claiborne Christian is coming into the game with five straight defeats at home, meaning Choudrant will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Downsville will take on Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Downsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
