After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North County, South Iron was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Kingston Cougars. The Panthers have beaten the Cougars the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cougars has come to flipping the script.

The victory got South Iron back to even at 1-1-1. As for Kingston, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Iron will welcome Koshkonong at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingston, they will be playing at home against Grandview at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
