The Pillow Academy Mustangs lost against the Jackson Academy Raiders back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pillow Academy has not had much luck with Jackson Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Mike Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jackson Academy, scoring 15 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals. The contest was Williams' tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Gaitor, who scored 14 points.
Pillow Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-5. As for Jackson Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Pillow Academy will head out on the road to face off against Simpson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jackson Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Central Hinds Academy at 8:00 p.m. Central Hinds Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
