Pasadena hasn't had much luck against Crescenta Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Falcons at 3:45 p.m. Pasadena has given up an average of 18 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Pasadena lost 18-2 to Burbank. Pasadena's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Pasadena saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milania Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Crescenta Valley got themselves on the board against Glendale on Thursday, but Glendale never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Nitros. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Mila Reddy, who fired off three triples, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Hernandez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Crescenta Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pasadena hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .406. However, it's not like Crescenta Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .392. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Pasadena might still be hurting after the 21-0 defeat they got from Crescenta Valley in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
