Sickles is 7-2 against Strawberry Crest since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Sickles Gryphons will look to defend their home field  against the Strawberry Crest Chargers  at 10:00  a.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Strawberry Crest will be up against a hot Sickles  squad: the  team just extended their winning streak to three. Sickles was the clear victors by  a  16-5 margin over Lennard on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Gryphons, who have now won three contests by 11  runs or more  so far this season.
Sickles let  Braden Ross and  Charlie Martz run wild. Ross  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Martz  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Martz a new career-high in  hits (two). Another player making a difference was  Jordan Yost, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Sickles was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Strawberry Crest won against Plant City  on Friday with ten  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. Strawberry Crest came out on top against Armwood by a score of  10-7. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Chargers.
 Chase Conti made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3. He also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Nico Cappucci was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Brisen Tweedy was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  runs.
 Sickles' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Strawberry Crest, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
Strawberry Crest's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Sickles has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .464. It's a different story for Strawberry Crest, though, as  they've  only  averaged .344. Will they be able to contain Sickles' hitters?
 Everything went Sickles' way against Strawberry Crest in their previous meeting  back in February of 2024, as Sickles made off with  an  8-1 victory. Will Sickles repeat their success,  or does  Strawberry Crest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
