The Frontier Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Monroe Central Seminoles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Frontier will be strutting in after a win while Monroe Central will be coming in after a defeat.
Frontier barely beat Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over the Lumberjacks on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Mikayla Bennett made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Frontier has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Monroe Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Frontier suffered a grim 11-2 defeat to Monroe Central in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
